How will the therapy be personalized?

In our upcoming clinical trial, the Cloud AI software will develop a customized treatment based on each participant’s real-time pattern of memory encoding identified in the clinic. During at home use, the neurostimulator will continuously monitor each participant’s neural activity, administering a customized stimulation pattern when it detects that the brain is not encoding memories well.

How will the participant use the neurostimulation system?

To initiate stimulation, the participant simply places the external processor over the ear, connecting it magnetically with the implanted device components. The processor wirelessly powers the neural implant, enabling it to administer stimulation when brain signals suggest memories are not being encoded throughout the day.

Neural Implant

The Neural Implant contains circuits for sensing and stimulating the brain. It was designed to determine when memory encoding is not occurring efficiently, and then to deliver gentle pulses of electrical stimulation with the aim of rescuing brain activity associated with strong memory performance.
